How to make a good impression at your interview
M
Medical student in AUSoM, Thessaloniki and future Swiss doctor

Hello future doctors,

The first impression you make is incredibly powerful. Not just in interviews, but also in life. This article provides 3 high yield strategies to make a powerful first impression in your interview.

1- Always smiling

Enthusiasm is contagious. So is your smile. The admission team might not remember what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel.

2- Dress up

Wear something nice (preferably with buttons). Overdressed is better than underdressed. You feel better, you smile more, and you radiate confidence.

3- Prep facts/ statistics

Find stats or figure unique to the university. It makes a good impression.

Guiding principle

The three strategies work because they show the interviewer that you really want to get into their university. You are visibly excited, and you were willing to dress up and do research.

Be well,

Michael
